CZ LOKO successfully launches two locomotives at InnoTrans Berlin 2014

Two new locomotives, classes TME3-020 and 794.001, both designed and produced by CZ LOKO, were presented at InnoTrans in Berlin. InnoTrans, which took place in mid-September 2014, is the most significant transport trade fair in Europe. The TME3 locomotive is a result of cooperation between CZ LOKO and the Lida depot, which is a member of the Belarusian Railway Company. Speeches were given at the commissioning ceremony by Vladimir Mikhailovich Morozov, the Director of the Belarusian Railway Company, and Josef Bárta, CZ LOKO’s Managing Director.

The two-axle, diesel-electric class TME3 locomotive is designed for light and medium shunting service, primarily on industrial sidings and lines with a 1 520 mm gauge.
The two-axle diesel-electric class 794 locomotive is designed for light shunting and line service on national and regional railways and sidings with a 1 435 mm gauge.
